Claim Your Free Online Listings

We spent a couple of hours using Get Listed to claim and update our business listings. It’s easy to get started. Just go to the website type in the name of your business and your zip code. The utility will search to find your business and take you to a results page. This page shows your:

Get listed also has a “reviews” tab that displays reviews it found online about your business as well as a “to do” tab that lists simple to-do's to enhance and expand your listings on the listing provider pages.

Low Hanging Fruit

Get Listed is a convenient way to capture some not so obvious low hanging fruit. You can register and update your listings on 16 listing services in a couple of hours. Every listing has your business name, website, contact information and address, if you want it made public. The listing sites all had free listings and some offered premium upgrades as well. Most of the listing sites will have you create an account that you have to validate through various methods. We recommend creating a sheet to hold your user names and passwords as you register with the listing sites.
You will be asked by some listing sites to write about your business, so keep your elevator speech on your password sheet so you can copy, paste and edit it as required. Some of the listing sites let you post pictures and reviews too.
