Website Design for Non-Profit Foundation
Mercy Center Foundation USA, Inc.
Dynamic PHP, database-driven website design / Joomla CMS development project. Multiple photo galleries, video integration, PayPal donation integration.
The Mercy Center Foundation USA, Inc. had two websites that they wanted to merge for one consistent message: to help combat disease and poverty in Lare, Kenya, by providing compassionate and humanitarian assistance toward sustainable and affordable clean water, health care, education and micro-enterprise initiatives. The foundation was established by Sister Rose Wangui, who joined the Sisters of the Visitation at their Georgetown Visitation Monastery, in Washington, D.C; but she was unable to leave her people in Lare, Kenya completely behind.
Their new website highlights all the key programs of the foundation, has a Pay Pal donation page, history and a pop up gallery. DeCarlo Studios also helped them set up a Facebook page and get started with some social marketing to help deliver their message to a wider audience and share their accomplishments.
The Mercy Center Foundation was also organizing an upcoming race, and needed some help with marketing materials to get the word out. DeCarlo Studios created a logo design and set up a special events page with registration information and posted a list of sponsors and donors which could be regularly updated. We also helped out with some photography and video to capture their event.
It's been a pleasure to help Sister Rose in her mission!

"We can't thank you enough for the great work and for all your help on Saturday at the race! The website is a fantastic expression of our project and I received many compliments from runners, etc. about how much they liked it. We also received comments from teachers and the other schools and groups who came."
